On the occasion of International Peace Day, Act Now in collaboration with Environment Online, Brookfield International School, Glamanand, WSSC (World Summit of Students for Climate) Treebuddy and Envirate organized World’s Longest & Largest Environment Online Event on 21st and 22nd September. The event went on for 24 hours non-stop.

The Web Symposium brought together the key stakeholders in planet earth - the thinkers and the doers, from around the world, and reached 113 countries to almost a million people across all time zones. The occasion coincided with 20th anniversary of Environment Online, a global network for environmental education based in Finland.
Hosted by Act Now Founder, Rajiv K Shrivastava, Founding Secretary Paavani, Educator, JK Singh, Miss Earth 2014, Jamie Herrell, and Ronnie Antony from Taiwan, the event was joined by thinkers and doers from around the world such as Tarja Halonen, Former President of Finland, David Jensen, UNEP, Coordinator of the Digital Transformation Task Force, Jan Heiderer, GLOBE Programme, GLOBE, Mathis Wackernagel, Founder and President, Global Footprint Network Pekka Haavisto, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Finland, Mika Vanhanen, Founder, Environment Online, Marc Palahí, Director, European Forest Institute, Nelly Piementel, Miss Earth 2019, Karen Ibasco, Miss Earth 2017, Jamie Herrell, Miss Earth 2014, Nicole Faria, Miss Earth 2010.

Environment Online -ENO- and Act Now celebrated Tree Planting Day with TED ED Earth School on 22 May 2020. The world over Schools, NGOs, Individuals and Institutions joined hands. in 2020 ENO is also celebrating 20 years of its. existence.
World Summit of Students for Climate Launched
New Delhi, IN, 19 Jan 2019

The international launch of WSSC took place in the Embassy of Finland in Delhi, India, on 18 January 2019. The Ambassador of Finland, Nina Vaskunlahti, student ambassador Paavani, CEO of ENO Mika Vanhanen and ENO India coordinator Rajiv Shrivastava were present.

The initiative comes from the ENO schoolnet. A concrete outcome is a commitment of schools to plant trees and tie three million tons of carbon dioxide by 2025. The summit was organised in co-operation with the city of Helsinki, Minister of Environment, Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Agriculture and Forest and Ministry for Foreign affairds. World Summit of Students for Climate is endorsed by the president of the Republic of Finland, Mr Sauli Niinistö.

Alpine Public School Khurja inks climate agreement

ENO India signed up #ClimateAgreement with Alpine Public School Khurja. A Tree Planting day was organized at the school joined by Miss Teen International contestants from 13 countries. WSSC Ambassador, Paavani, emphasized called upon the students and local community to join the efforts. ENO Country Coordinator, Rajiv K Shrivastava briefed local community about the initiative.
