POP partners with TERI for the Twenty First Edition of WSDS
The POP (Protect Our Planet) Movement has partnerd with TERI - The Energy and Resources Institute as an Outreach Partner for their annual flagship event, the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS), scheduled to be held from February 22-24, 2023. The Summit deliberations will focus on the umbrella theme, ‘Mainstreaming Sustainable Development and Climate Resilience for Collective Action.’ It is increasingly being recognized that our political, environmental, and commercial activities, in addition to the mechanisms and tools within policymaking, are often carried out in departmental silos and lack a systemic approach. A consequence of this has been us missing out on the opportunity to act collectively towards sustainable development and further climate action.
